The Airtel Voice Calls and SMS Blackout days in the coming year 2013.
On Black out days,No SMS packs benefits will be applicable. Normal SMS rates of Re 1 for local SMS, Rs 1.50 for National SMS and Rs 5 for International SMS and voice call rate of customer tariff plan will apply between 00.00 hrs to 24.00 hr.

- 1st Jan 2013, New Year –>SMS and Voice
- 4th Aug 2013, Friendship Day –> Date TBA, SMS and Voice
- 14th Feb 2013, Valentine Day –> Date TBA, SMS and Voice
- 3rd Nov 2013, Diwali –>Date TBA, SMS and Voice
- 31st Dec 2013 –> Date TBA, SMS and Voice
It has been clearly mentioned now on the Airtel website “All the Voice calls and person to person SMS will be charged at Normal Rates and not as Discounted Rates”.
