Widget Area
- Navigate to WordPress dashboard –> Appearance –> Widget to get started.
Homepage Text
Add the text widget in “Front Page 1”; consequently it appears right below the navigation bar in Homepage.
Sticky Message
What ever text you wish to display in Front page add the same in “Sticky Message” in widget section. As a result, the sticky text will appear even when you scroll down the page.
Blog Post Area
- In the widget area add “Genesis – Featured Posts” widget in Front Page 2 section.
- Select the category to display in homepage
- You can modify “Number of Posts to show” and sort it by “Date”
- Customise “Featured Image” size. Here we have selected thumbnail size 150×150.
- Also select “Show Post Title” and limit content to 150 characters.
- In More text area you can type “continue reading” or “know more”.
- Hit save and refresh homepage to see the results.
Genesis User Profile
- Displays user profile block with Gravatar.
- Add Genesis user profile widget to “Front Page 4 Section” to display Author information along with Gravatar in homepage.
Footer Area
In Footer widget section add “Text” and “Genesis e-News Extended” widgets to display the footer as per below image.
