Google has recently introduced comment spam filters by which bloggers can now moderate comments given on their blogs.Usually Dofollow blogs suffer huge amount of spam comments. We were facing spam problems in Geekyard(WordPress blog) and I have already written an article how we prevented spams in WordPress Blog.Getting back to our discussion of moderating comments Blogger is now easy with spam filters.
“Commenting is one of the most integral parts of blogging: it’s what makes blogging a conversation, not a monologue. That’s why we are pleased to announce two cool new improvements to Blogger’s comments system: much better spam filtering and the ability to view all comments on your blog in one place,” Saurav Shah and Junho Ryu, Software Engineers at Google wrote.
The comments are split into three categories,
- Published,
- Awaiting Moderation and
- Spam.
When ever someone comments on your blog you can see them under comments Tab.If you find irrelevant keywords in comments which is not related to the topic then its a spam comment.Just mark it as spam and delete it. 😉
You can mark the comments as spam or publish it or else delete unwanted comments 🙂
